Iv sort of been trying to think of something to say to you since I saw your first thumbnail, but as I looked on, I see there's not a whole lot to say that hasn’t been said. And I suppose I’m afraid of becoming just another drop in the sea of voices. Still at the risk of being misheard, (and or misunderstood) I think your work is beautiful. I think you are beautiful... but I think you’re sad. Or at least what little Iv seen might betray that in your smile. I think your work speaks it, and that may be why I find it so fascinating. If you would share it with me, Id like to read that “Nagas ugly son” story, Even if it’s not done or you don’t think it’s any good. And that’s my fathers e-mail so Ill probably ask again if you send it and he deletes it.

Two other things, the first is, if we end up never hearing from each other again, pleas know that for what its worth you have my empathy, And I wish you well.

And the second, I found it absolutely uncanny how much your ugly naga boy resembles me.

Amanda Beth Conrad Powell replies: ":::Thoughtful face:::The name Lucy may bring up images of 'loose-y', (pronounced the same) like loose women or someone who loses or is a loser, but it actually means 'Light'. (ie: Lucifer-son of light). I find that there's more truth in the roots of a word than in the casual association of 'things that sound the same'. Not that it really matters, in any event, but I do always enjoy a thought provoking conversation with you. (I really hope that's how you'll take this, and not think I'm putting you down or anything. I sincerely want to know where to learn how to draw or paint like these. No one can do things the way your doing it, but it’s a style of art I’ve never quit seen. Your pictures are perfect for books. Please email me any suggested areas or books that could teach me a bit of what you do. Thank you for your time.
